About Yellowmetal
Yellowmetal Plants & Equipment Ltd (RC 9409523) hires, sells and lists heavy construction equipment for sites across Nigeria. We're based in Festac Town, Lagos and close every deal with customers on WhatsApp.
What we do
- Hire: 144 machine types from excavators, dozers and HOWO tippers to low-beds, cranes, concrete pumps, dredgers and drone surveys, by the day, week or month, with operator and diesel.
- Buy: 270 lines of new, tokunbo and Nigerian-used equipment, with inspection, instalments and lease-to-own for qualifying buyers.
- List: owners rent out or sell idle machines through us. We contract the job, manage the operator and pay the owner on agreed terms.
- Source: anything we don't list, found through our partner network and quoted on WhatsApp.
How we price
Our rates follow the Buildocrat Nigeria Construction Rate Book, which checks plant hire rates, equipment prices, diesel and the exchange rate every week. This site picks up each update automatically. Every hire rate is split into dry hire, diesel with lubricants, and operator, with factors for 12 locations. Lines the rate book doesn't yet cover are marked as Yellowmetal estimates.
Who runs it
Yellowmetal is led by Engr. Akolade Maruf Ibrahim, MNSE, a COREN-registered civil and structural engineer and PMP. Our own SDLG LG953F loader has completed 354 hire jobs since 2023.
How we work with you
- One contract, one accountable company, whether the machine is ours or a verified partner's.
- Inspection before mobilisation, with current video of the exact machine on request.
- Payment only into our corporate account, after a proforma invoice. Never to a personal account.
