What drives the price

Excavator prices depend mostly on size (tonnes), brand, year and working hours. Chinese brands (SANY, XCMG, LiuGong) cost much less new than CAT or Komatsu. Tokunbo (foreign-used) CAT machines hold their value well. Imported new machines move with the exchange rate. Check the hour meter, undercarriage wear and hydraulic leaks, and do a test dig before paying.
